Meta Bird NYC is a small woman owned business, run solely by Meta herself (mostly out of her East Village apartment). From the concept designs, hand carving each piece to creation, finishing and polishing, packing up orders, running the social media and handling customer service, Meta does it all. Meta Bird NYC was founded in 2014, towards the end of her final year at FIT studying Jewelry Design. Her designs are often inspired by found objects, tattoos, and of course, New York City itself. Meant to easily be worn with the jewelry you already own, this jewelry is fun and easy to wear everyday. Newly added are handmade pillows in the same fun inspiration!
