Focusing on innovative silhouettes and distinctive prints, Julia Alexander Swim is a poetic slow fashion swimwear label inspired by the reminiscence of travel. Our first collection, the tales of the tides, is a love letter to the strong women in my life, who believed in and helped me on this journey, as well as to all the dreamers. The unique print featured throughout the first collection was taken from a photograph, taken on the North Island of New Zealand whilst lost. The dreamy print depicts sand which has been marked by foot prints, bicycle tracks, shoe prints and waves. Some remain solid in the sand, whilst some have been disturb by the on coming tides - emphasising the emotions of taking a journey. Each garment is ethically and delicately crafted in a small studio in London in very limited quantities.
